Connie in 2010

Connie has an M.F.A. from Syracuse University and a B.F.A. from the Cleveland Institute of Art. She has been exhibiting her paintings and drawings for 40 years in solo and group shows across the country. The Berman Art Museum at Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA purchased one of her paintings for their permanent collection.

She was the recipient of the prestigious Individual Artists Fellowship Grant from the Delaware State Arts Council in 1993. Her work has been featured in national art magazines such as Artists’ Magazine and American Artist.

Connie lives in Wilmington, DE where she is currently on the faculty and the Head of the Fine Arts and Foundations program at the Delaware College of Art and Design. She has been  teaching drawing and design since 1972.  She taught at the University of Delaware, the Delaware Art Museum, the Otis Institute of the Parsons School of Design, the Los Angeles Museum of Art, Cazenovia College, and Syracuse University before she began teaching at the Delaware College of Art and Design in 1997.
